Our P.E.O. family picnic is set for Sunday, June 26th at Denise's home (835 Larkspur, Hickman). We plan to begin at 6 pm. Her husband, Gordan has graciously offered to smoke some meat. How about if sisters with last names from A-I bring a dessert and the rest are asked to bring a side dish, like a salad or vegetables, etc. Denise will provide the dishware. Some drinks will be provided, but if you have a favorite beverage, feel free to bring it. You might want to bring lawn chairs too. Hope you all can make it! Please let Denise (792-3263) know by Friday, June 24th whether or not you'll be able to attend.

Gordon and I are excited to host the summer social this year. Usually, we are in Portland this time of year while Gordon has his short break from teaching at SCC. This year we are taking a quick trip to Branson (leaving this Friday). I have missed the last 3 summer socials since we are usually on vacation, so this will be a great time to get to know your husbands/families.
